Peak Season Surcharges - Caribbean & Latin America
18th August 2008

 

We regret to advise that following the imposition of a Peak Season Surcharge by all of the shipping lines serving certain areas of the Caribbean and Latin America, Fallow International Freight Limited has been forced to recover such fees on a cost-recovery basis from our customers.

As such, from immediate effect, we will be levying the following charges:

LCL PEAK SEASON SURCHARGE: EURO 15.00 W/M OR USD 22.00 W/M – Depending on freight currency
FCL PEAK SEASON SURCHARGE: EURO 310 PER 20' / EURP 620 PER 40'

This applies for shipments to the following destinations:
CARTAGENA, COLOMBIA
CAUCEDO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - FCL ONLY
LA GUAIRA, VENEZUELA - FCL ONLY
PUERTO CABELLO, VENEZUELA - FCL ONLY
KINGSTON, JAMAICA
PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD

Initial indications are that this surcharge will last until 17th October 2008.

Middle east & Red Sea:    USD $25.00 w/m

Indian Sub-Continent:       USD $20.00 w/m

 

 

 

 

BAF Amendment - Mediterranean
22nd July 2008

 

Please note the following amendments to BAF rates with effect from 1st August 2008

 

Mediterranean:        Malta, Alexandria, Beirut and Cyprus   -   GBP £7.00 w/m

 

 

 

 

Depot Change - Mediterranean
22nd July 2008

 

Please be advised that with effect from 4th August 2008, cargo destined for Alexandria, Beirut and Turkey will transfer into the Fortress Distrubution depot instead of GDT. Please ensure all goods are delivered to:
